Hey Aaron – just wanted to follow up on this. Spoke with the folks at StackSocial and brought this up with them. They work with an authorized reseller who they say they’ve properly vetted for over a year and a half. They even provide documentation Additionally, the verify their status as an official, licensed Microsoft partner, and they’re also listed on Microsoft’s official website. Per StackSocial: “Most of our publisher network (Mashable, CNET, etc.) also promote Microsoft Office deals. If any issues do arise, our Customer Support team has a 100% success rate at resolving customer issues with this deal.”

We have also noticed those too, but we typically conduct quality control on them and purchase one every few months to ensure everything is legitimate. To date, we have tested three offers and have never encountered any issues.

Selling a volume licence to individuals is a quick way to waste money once Microsoft discovers the abuse/fraud and deactivates the keys.
